Steam Awards เป็นรางวัลที่ถูกจัดและมอบให้กับเกมบน Steam โดยเฉพาะ ซึ่งความพิเศษของเกมนี้อยู่ที่ตัวรางวัลไม่ได้ถูกตัดสินโดยคนกลุ่มใดกลุ่มหนึ่ง แต่ตัดสินจากการโหวตของเราแฟนเกมที่อยู่บน Steam ทั้งหมด ดังนั้นมันจึงถือว่าเป็นรางวัลที่แสดงให้เห็นว่า “เกมที่ได้รับรางวัล คือเกมที่แฟนเกมชื่นชอบจริง ๆ”
โดยในปี 2021 นี้ เกมที่ได้รับรางวัล Game of the Year ก็คือเกม “Resident Evil Village” สามารถเฉือนเอาชนะเกมอื่น ๆ อย่าง Valheim, New World, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5 ไปได้
